The operating room (O.R.) is a facility within a hospital specializing in different surgical procedures. Patients are being treated inside O.R. through surgical operations under anesthesia. Asides from the surgical procedures OR provides special care which includes IV fluid administration, medications, electro-cautery machine. Under O.R., the hospital has a Recovery Room (R.R.), known as Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). It houses post – operative patients for a minimum of two hours or until the time the anesthesia had wear off. Moreover, there is a Central Supply Room (CSR) inside the theatre, where all the medicines and supplies are readily available once needed.
